Great Read!!

OK here was the play. There were 7 people at the table. The blinds were 100 and 200 there was a call and a fold then a raise to 500. I then re raised it to 1,000, the next 3 people folded, then a 2 calls. I had a pair of 7's. On the flop 10, 9 and 8 came. There were 2 checks in front of me and i made it 600. They both called. The turn came to reveal a 5. Again there were 2 checks in front of me and I again lead out with another 600 and the other 2 called again. Then on the river a 9 came out. The first player lead out with a 3,000 bet, then after about 2 min the next player folds and then it was up to me. I went thru my head every play that had happened before his bet. He had only called all the way up to the river. I knew he had a hand because he called the 1,000 raise but he also only continued to call all my bets. I he had tripped up on the flop why not lead out with a bet. I also knew this guy was getting lucky on every hand he has been playing. After about 7 min I decided he had some thing but he started to boast a bit that if I call I can turn over his cards. Seemed a little cocky to me. He normally doesn't talk. So after another 2 min I called the 3,000 turned over my 7's and then turned over his pair of 6's. Everyone at the table was in awe of my read. Then to find out that the other player folded a pair of aces. He was sure that some one had tripped up on the flop. I was so glad I was shaking. I was also pleased with my read. I think my Phil Hellmuth's White belt to black belt downloads are paying off.

  1. Where were you last week? I couldn't reach you by phone and I don't have any other methods other than this blog (that I wonder if you'll update). Just kidding. Where you at?!?!
